About the role

This isa great opportunityfor an organised, systems-savvy maintenance professional to take on a pivotal support role within our Maintenance team. As our Maintenance Officer,you’llbe the engine room behind the scenes, managing work orders, coordinating contractors, and keeping our CMMS (MEX) system running smoothly so our trades and Maintenance Leadership can stay focused on execution.

This role suits someone who thrives on structure and process, enjoys working with data and systems, and wants to make a genuine impact on how a maintenance team runs day to day.

WhatYou’llBe Doing

Based at our Tatura site(near Shepparton),you’llplay a critical coordination role across maintenance operations, safety, and continuous improvement. Key areas include:

- Maintenance Operations: MaintainCMMS (MEX) data integrity, support the preventative maintenance schedule, coordinate contractor onboarding and compliance, manage workshop inventory, and support spare parts procurement andpurchasing.
- Health, Safety & Wellbeing: Report hazards,incidentsand injuries to keep the workplace safe, flag anything that could compromise food safety or production,



ensure safe storage of chemical goods, and champion PPE and OHS compliance across the team.
- Administration & Reporting: Support maintenance planning and budgeting, deliver weekly performance reports, track labour hours against forecast,validatetimesheets, support stocktakes and goods receipting through SAP, andmaintainSWMS, risk assessments, and SOPs.
- Continuous Improvement: Champion a culture of continuous improvement, using maintenance data toidentifyopportunities, support change management, and drive innovation across the department.

We’relooking for someone with strong commercial acumen who’s comfortable working across systems, budgets, and people in a fast-paced environment.Here’swhat will help you succeed:

- Experience working in a fast-paced maintenance or operations environment.
- Confident using CMMS and accounting software, with advanced Microsoft Office skills.
- Strong commercial acumen, including experienceassistingwithbudgets.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise confidently across trades and leadership.
- Analytical and data-driven, with an agile, detail-oriented approach to work.
- Energetic, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively.
- A current driver’s licence; a forklift licence is highly regarded.
