Garlo’s Pies is offering an exciting Quality Assurance Internship chance for a motivated and detail‑oriented individual who wants real industry exposure in QA, food safety, and compliance.
*This is an unpaid internship designed to provide strong practical experience and industry training.* However, we offer valuable benefits to support you during your placement.
Internship Benefits

- Exposure to HACCP, GMP, and real production environments
- Conduct GMP audits across production areas
- Raise internal NCRs, follow up on corrective actions, and close them in the quality system
- Perform pH testing on pastries
- Conduct protein swab analysis and report results
- Assist with water testing sample collection
- Perform X-ray rejection analysis
Documentation & Reporting
- Assist in preparing quality reports
- Support the preparation and updating of quality documents
- Deliver production documents across departments
- Print and distribute documents to production, post-production, and warehouse teams
Product Testing & Sensory
- Prepare and report on taste panels
- Bake products for taste panel sessions and retention sample analysis
- Set up data loggers and download/analyse recorded data
About You
- Currently studying Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology, or a related discipline
- Strong attention to detail
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable working in a production/manufacturing environment
- Eager to learn and build a career in Quality Assurance
