Salary: As per Victorian public nursing and midwifery EBA
Location: Mercy Hospital for Women, Heidelberg
Responsibilities
- Work across a variety of maternity and specialist areas, including Birth Suites, Post‑Natal / Antenatal wards, Fetal Monitoring, Outpatients, HDU, and the Emergency Department
- Play an integral role in a motivated clinical team with a family‑centered care approach
- Provide best‑practice patient care as a member of the multidisciplinary team
- Participate in education support and teamwork activities to enhance clinical practice
- Handle shifts in a rotating roster, ensuring continuity of care across all maternity settings
Qualifications
- Minimum of 12 months recent experience in maternity services as a registered midwife
- Excellent clinical, time management, organisational and communication skills with the ability to adapt and problem‑solve
- Compassionate,
flexible and positive approach to patient care and management
- Ability to nurture friendly, respectful relationships and contribute to a collaborative team environment
- Current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check, or in the process of obtaining them
- Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders
