An opportunity has become available for an experienced Assistant Broker or Junior Insurance Broker to join one of the Gold Coast's most established insurance brokerages.

Working as part of a collaborative team of eight, you'll support and manage a portfolio of domestic and SME commercial clients while continuing to develop your broking career. This is a varied role where you'll work closely with senior brokers, insurers and clients, gaining exposure across both personal and commercial lines.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Assisting with the management of domestic and SME commercial insurance portfolios.
- Preparing renewals, endorsements, quotations and recent business submissions.
- Liaising with insurers to negotiate terms and obtain competitive outcomes for clients.
- Providing exceptional day-to-day service to clients via phone and email.
- Supporting brokers with policy administration and portfolio management.
- Assisting clients with policy enquiries and claims support.
- Building strong relationships with clients, insurers and colleagues.
- Ensuring compliance with industry and regulatory requirements.

About You

You'll have previous experience working within an insurance brokerage and be looking to continue building your career in a supportive,



team-focused environment.

Ideally you'll have:

- Experience as an Assistant Broker, Broker Assistant or Junior Insurance Broker.
- Exposure to domestic and/or SME commercial insurance.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- A proactive attitude and genuine desire to progress within insurance broking.
- Tier 1 Insurance Broking qualifications (or working towards them) will be highly regarded.
- Experience using broking systems such as Insight, WinBEAT, Sunrise or similar is advantageous.
