We're seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Officer to join our team!

In this role, you'll play an important part in keeping our accounts receivable and government subsidy processes running smoothly, accurately and efficiently. You'll help ensure billing, receipting, client records and related finance activities are completed with care, accuracy and in line with relevant requirements, standards, policies and procedures.

What you'll do

- Process client billing, receipting, banking, debtor adjustments and monthly statements.
- Maintain accurate debtor, client and funding records.
- Respond to debtor and funding enquiries in a timely, professional and confidential manner.
- Review and follow up outstanding debtor balances.
- Support the processing and validation of government subsidy and funding claims.
- Prepare reports and statistics to support finance and business reconciliation and reporting.
- Assist with general finance administration, data entry, records management and system updates.
- Work collaboratively with the Finance team and assist with ad hoc projects as required.

What you'll bring

- Minimum 2 years' experience in Accounts Receivable or a related finance role.
- Experience in accounting and/or bookkeeping,



including the use of accounting or ERP systems - experience with Technology One will be highly regarded.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office; Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel.
- Solid written and verbal communication skills, with a professional phone manner.
- Ability to prioritise, multitask and manage a high volume workload.
- Customer focused approach, with a commitment to resolving queries and complaints effectively.
- Strong analytical and data entry skills, with high accuracy and attention to detail.
- Experience in a Health and/or Aged Care sector (desired).

Qualifications & Checks

- Certificate IV or Diploma in Business, Administration or similar (desired).
- Undergo a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check.
