Role Description

The Used Car Sales Specialist is a full-time, on-site position based in the Gold Coast. This role is responsible for engaging with customers on the showroom floor and lot, understanding their needs, and recommending suitable pre-owned vehicles from the group’s inventory. Daily tasks include conducting test drives, explaining vehicle features and history, preparing and presenting pricing and finance options, and completing sales documentation accurately. The specialist will collaborate with service, finance,



and aftercare teams to ensure a smooth sales process and high levels of customer satisfaction. The role also involves following up with leads, maintaining ongoing relationships with past customers, and supporting promotional events and sales campaigns.

Qualifications

- Solid Sales Consulting skills, with the ability to identify customer needs and match them to suitable used vehicles.

- Demonstrated commitment to Customer Satisfaction and Customer Service, ensuring a positive, respectful experience for every visitor.

- Experience in Customer Retention, including follow-up communication and building long-term client relationships.

- Background in Automotive Sales or retail vehicle sales, with knowledge of used car valuation and basic vehicle features.

- Confident communication and negotiation abilities, with solid numeracy skills for pricing and finance discussions.

- Ability to work on-site, including weekends and peak sales periods, as part of a collaborative dealership team.

- Valid driver’s license and safe driving record; previous dealership experience is highly regarded.

- Comfort using dealership CRM systems and basic computer applications; professional presentation and reliability.
