BAT Trims is currently seeking a reliable, energetic and experienced all-round store person to join our warehouse team. This role is available in a Permanent Part time capacity. The successful candidate will be required to carry out duties relating to pick/packing orders.

Located in Wangara, BAT Trims is a large manufacturer, wholesaler and importer of tiling trims, tools and accessories supplying the Tiling and Building Industry nationwide.

Immediate start available, with comprehensive in-person training provided. Part time hours spread over three days, with option for future opportunity of increased hours available. Total 24 part time hours minimum, however can be negotiated for the right candidate.

Main Duties Include:

- Assisting with general warehouse duties. These include but are not limited to loading and unloading of deliveries via forklift, sorting and packing customer orders

- Inventory control of stock

- General forklift duties including unloading/loading of trucks

- Answering inbound phone calls,



responding to customer queries and orders when required

- Assisting with stock control

- General warehouse duties.

- Adhoc miscellaneous duties as directed by Senior Management

To be successful, the individual will:

- Possess high attention to detail to ensure accuracy of work

- Have strong organisation skills and the ability to work under pressure

- Be able to work unanimously within a team environment, and also autonomously

- Be physically fit and able to lift items of up to 20kg

- Have an understanding and appreciation of OH&S; principles

- Hold a current forklift and valid driver’s License

- Have solid numeracy and literacy skills

- Basic computer literacy skills will be highly regarded

As this position involves face-to-face contact with customers, the successful applicant will need to maintain a clean and tidy appearance at all times along with a friendly and courteous attitude.
