The RoleWe're looking for a skilled Drone Pilot / Robotic Inspection Technician to join our field operations team. You'll be flying and operating specialist inspection platforms inside tanks, vessels, flare stacks, and other confined or hard-to-access industrial environments — collecting high-quality visual and NDT data our clients rely on for asset integrity decisions.

What You'll Be DoingPiloting confined-space inspection drones (e.g. Flyability Elios 3) inside tanks, vessels, silos, and other enclosed structuresOperating NDT-by-drone platforms (e.g. Voliro T) to capture ultrasonic testing (UT), pulsed eddy current (PEC), DFT, and other thickness/corrosion dataDeploying robotic crawlers for pipe, tank, and structural inspectionsCapturing and quality-checking inspection data against relevant standards (e.g. API 653,



ASME Section V)Working alongside NDT technicians and inspectors to plan and execute site inspections safely and efficientlyPreparing transparent inspection data packages and supporting report generationTravelling to client sites across Australia (and occasionally internationally) for project work

What We're Looking ForCurrent RePL (Remote Pilot Licence) or willingness to obtain oneExperience piloting drones in complex or confined environments (essential)Strong manual flying skills and sound judgement under pressureComfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, and on industrial sitesCurrent (or willingness to obtain) confined space and working at heights tickets
Highly regarded (not essential):NDT qualifications or experience (UT, PEC, DFT, EMAT, LPS, or similar)Background working in oil & gas, mining, or heavy industrial environmentsExperience with robotic crawlers, ROVs, or laser scanning/LiDAR equipmentSite safety inductions relevant to resources/energy sectors
