About the Role
We're looking for a reliable, physically fit and customer-focused Delivery Driver to join our growing team.
Your day will include:
- Delivering, assembling and installing healthcare equipment in customers' homes across metropolitan Adelaide.
- Delivering equipment to hospitals and healthcare facilities.
- Collecting equipment from customers' homes.
- Providing friendly, respectful and professional customer service to people of all ages and abilities.
- Safely loading, unloading and transporting equipment.
- Representing Max Healthcare Equipment with professionalism and care.
This role is much more than driving.
You'll often be the friendly face that reassures customers and their families during an important time in their lives.
Hours:
Monday to Friday with full-time hours available.
Additional Saturday work by agreement.
Chance to participate in a shared on-call roster for Sundays and Public Holidays.
About You
You'll be someone who:
- Enjoys helping people and delivering exceptional customer service.
- Has a current Australian Driver's License.
- Is physically fit and comfortable lifting and moving heavy healthcare equipment, including electric hospital beds and recliner chairs.
- Is willing to undergo and pass a pre-employment medical assessment.
- Holds (or is willing to obtain) a National Police Check and DCSI/Working with Children Clearance.
- Is confident driving a large van throughout metropolitan Adelaide.
- Works well independently and can solve problems on the go.
- Has excellent communication skills and enjoys interacting with customers, carers and healthcare professionals.
- Has experience with healthcare equipment or hospital beds (advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided).
