Service Coordinator

Banhams WA is a well-regarded, privately owned company operating across the Fire services industry. Delivering comprehensive, statewide fire protection solutions, we work across inspection, testing, maintenance and rectification, aligned to Australian Standards and best-practice methodologies. We are seeking a Service Coordinator to join our team and play a key role in supporting our fire operations.

Role Overview

As a Service Coordinator, you will sit at the centre of our fire services operations. This is a fast-paced, hands-on coordination role where you will manage the flow of work from job request through to completion. You’ll be responsible for keeping jobs moving, technicians scheduled, clients informed, and systems updated.

This role suits someone who enjoys being busy, takes ownership, and has strong prioritisation and follow-through skills.

- Schedule and coordinate field technicians across service, testing, maintenance, and reactive works

- Manage bookings, job changes, technician availability, and daily priorities

- Use Uptick to create, update, monitor, and close out service jobs

- Coordinate materials, parts, access requirements, and site information before attendance





- Liaise with technicians, clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal staff

- Follow up job notes, photos, reports, defects, materials, and completion information

- Support the Service Manager with daily service department operations

- Help keep jobs, records, and client communication accurate and up to date

What we are looking for

- Previous experience in service coordination, scheduling, dispatch, or service administration

- Experience using Uptick, or strong experience with similar systems such as Simpro

- Robust organisational skills and attention to detail

- Confident phone and email communication

- Ability to manage competing priorities

- Good problem-solving skills and a practical, team-focused attitude

- Experience in fire protection, building services, facilities maintenance, is essential to be successful in this role.
