The Role
As a Tax Accountant, you will work across tax,
accounting and business services matters for a range of clients.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing financial statements and income tax returns
- Preparing BAS and related compliance work
- Supporting clients across tax and business services matters
- Working with SME accounting software including MYOB and Xero
- Assisting with tax planning and general client advisory support
- Communicating with clients in a professional and responsive manner
- Working closely with senior team members to deliver accurate and timely work
- Building your technical capability across a broad public practice client base
What You'll Bring
- Minimum 3 years' experience in an Australian accounting firm
- Experience across tax and business services
- Strong technical capability and attention to detail
- Sound working knowledge of MYOB and Xero
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Skilled presentation and robust client service standards
- Ambition to continue developing within public practice
