ConsultANZ is partnering with a leading civil contractor known for delivering large-scale transport and infrastructure projects across New Zealand. With a strong pipeline of upcoming roading projects, they are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to play a key role in the successful delivery of works across multiple locations.
Main Responsibilities
- Manage all contractual and commercial aspects of major roading projects
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and financial reporting
- Lead project teams and subcontractors to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery
- Engage with clients, consultants, and local authorities throughout the project lifecycle
- Programme planning, scheduling, and risk management
- Ensure compliance with NZS 3910 and relevant industry standards
- Uphold health, safety, and environmental regulations on-site
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or a related discipline)
- Proven experience as a Contracts Manager or in a similar role on large-scale roading or infrastructure projects
- Strong knowledge of NZS 3910
- Strong commercial and contractual management skills
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and negotiation abilities
- Ability to lead teams and collaborate with clients and partners
- Experience with earthworks, pavement construction, and road alignment projects is highly desirable
