D'Nest is a dynamic and multifaceted new hospitality venue located South of the River, offering something for every occasion. From our vibrant sports bar perfect for catching the big game with friends, to long lunches, family dinners, after work drinks, and relaxed weekend gatherings, we are creating a destination that brings people together.
As we continue to build something truly special from the ground up, we are seeking a passionate, skilled, and committed Chef de Partie to join our growing kitchen team in support of Head Chef & Sous Chef.
We are looking for someone who takes pride in producing consistent, high quality food and brings energy, precision, and professionalism to every shift. If you thrive in a rapid paced kitchen and enjoy being part of a close knit team, we would love to hear from you.
What we are looking for from you
- Minimum of two (02) years of previous experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role within a high volume venue (restaurant, bar, pub/tavern environment)
- Ability to run a section independently and cope under pressure during busy service
- Robust understanding of and commitment to food safety standards, HACCP principles, and Workplace Health and Safety standards
- A creative mindset and genuine passion for food and the hospitality industry
- Excellent communication and organisation skills, with the ability to manage prep lists, stock rotation, and minimise wastage
- Exceptional attention to detail and consistency, with the ability to plate and deliver dishes to a high standard under time pressure
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills, with the ability to support and guide junior kitchen staff
- Flexibility in availability, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required
- In order to be successful you need to be residing in Western Australia with full Australian work rights
What you must have
- Trade qualification or equivalent experience as a Chef de Partie (Certificate III in Commercial Cookery preferred)
- Current Food Safety Supervisor certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- Excellent availability across days, evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required
- Reliable, confident, and responsible attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Currently residing in Western Australia with full Australian working rights (No Sponsorships)
- Sound understanding of kitchen hygiene, food safety, and section management
- Previous experience in a busy restaurant, bar, or pub kitchen (preferred)
