About the role
As a City Centre Streetscape Attendant, you will be part of a dedicated team responsible for maintaining the City's high-profile streetscapes, landscaped areas, and public open spaces, including the City Centre and Long Park. You'll play an important role in helping our community enjoy safe, clean, and visually appealing places every day.
Working closely with your crew and reporting to the leading hand, you'll carry out a range of horticultural and landscape maintenance activities while contributing to the presentation and liveability of the City.
A snapshot of your recent role
- Maintain streetscapes, gardens, and landscaped public spaces to a high standard.
- Carry out mowing, pruning, mulching, weed control, and litter collection activities.
- Support the upkeep of irrigation systems, including testing and minor repairs.
- Operate horticultural plant and equipment safely and effectively.
- Assist with traffic management activities when required.
- Work as part of a supportive team committed to delivering great outcomes for the community.
What you will bring to the role
- Experience in horticulture, parks and gardens, landscape maintenance, or a similar outdoor environment.
- Certificate III in Horticulture, Parks and Gardens, Turf Management,
or a related trade qualification.
- A strong work ethic and pride in maintaining high-quality public spaces.
- Current Satisfactory National Police Clearance.
- Basic Worksite Traffic Management Accreditation.
- Safe Chemical application & Handling Accreditation (level 3).
- White Card.
- First Aid Certificate.
- Ability to obtain or pass Verification of Competency assessment for plant such as mowers, brush cutters, edger – Kombi Attachment, Blower, and/or Spraying Equipment.

$79,029.72 - $80,618.22 per annum ($1,519.80 - $1,550.35 per week) + super.
