About the role

An exciting immediate opportunity for a Machine Operator & Packer (training provided) to join our Production team at the Scoresby plant. This role operates on day shifts, five days a week, starting at 6:00 am and finishing at 2:00 pm (38 hours per week, Monday to Friday).

Duties include

- Perform production tasks such as sorting, banding, packaging, labelling, and manual lifting.
- Operate the finishing machine (TXR) in accordance with training and SOPs.
- Maintain continuous quality control through inspection of printed products for clarity and defects.
- Follow all work instructions, procedures, and safety standards at all times.
- Work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Apply problem-solving skills to maintain efficiency and resolve issues quickly.

About You

- Prior packing or production experience is an advantage but not essential.
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling tasks.
- Ability to visually distinguish colours (essential for label inspection).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and a proactive approach to learning.
