About Us: Sizzle N Sambar is a well-established Indian restaurant based in Victoria Park and Willetton in Western Australia, known for delivering authentic, high-quality cuisine.

Responsibilities

- Prepare high-quality meals, maintaining consistency and food safety standards across all kitchen operations.
- Inspect ingredients and foodstuffs to ensure quality prior to preparation.
- Monitor and regulate temperatures of ovens, grills, and cooking equipment.
- Prepare, cook, and present menu dishes using a variety of cooking techniques.
- Season food appropriately throughout the cooking process.
- Portion dishes and finish with gravies, sauces, and garnishes for service.
- Store food correctly in temperature-controlled facilities per food safety standards.
- Prepare meals to accommodate special dietary and allergen requirements.
- Maintain consistent food quality, presentation, and portion control across all dishes.




- Uphold food safety, hygiene, and kitchen cleanliness.

Qualifications and Experience

- Minimum Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent recognised qualification.
- Minimum 1 year of post-qualification full-time (or equivalent part time) relevant experience as a Cook.
- If no trade qualification, then a minimum of 3 years of full-time (or equivalent part-time) relevant experience as a Cook.
- Experience in authentic Indian cuisine.
- Knowledge of regional Indian cooking styles.

Salary: AU$80,000 – AU$85,000 per year (plus Superannuation)
