The Role
Based in Melbourne, this is a senior structural role within a well-established team, offering the opportunity to take ownership of project delivery across a range of building projects.

You’ll lead structural design across mixed-use residential, commercial and industrial developments, working across steel, post-tensioned and precast concrete, masonry and timber structures.

This is a hands-on role with real scope, so you’ll act as a key point of contact for clients and consultants, manage project delivery, and collaborate with experienced engineers across the wider business. You’ll also play a key role in reviewing designs, mentoring junior engineers and helping maintain a consistently high technical standard across projects.

The Responsibilities





- Plan and conduct engineering projects of a complex nature to meet client requirements.
- Use knowledge and initiative to devise and implement new approaches to complex engineering problems
- Contribute to project planning and ensures projects are delivered within program and budget
- Liaise with drafters to enable preparation of documentation
- Liaise and coordinate with builders, architects, and services engineers on design issues

The Requirements

- 4+ years’ experience in structural design within a consultancy environment
- Proven ability to lead projects and manage relationships across building projects
- Experience across commercial, residential or industrial developments
- Proficiency in structural analysis software such as Inducta, SpaceGass and RAPT (or similar)
- Strong communication skills and a cooperative, team-oriented approach
- Full Australian working rights
