The Role
We’re seeking experienced and passionate Chefs to join our regional NSW team. Work across busy kitchen operations preparing high-volume, nutritious meals for a variety of venues.
- Solid experience in a busy pub/tavern kitchen
- Confident with pub classics and contemporary bistro-style menus
- Assist with prep, stock rotation, and kitchen cleanliness
- Prepare and cook menu items to a consistent, high standard
- Be fit and able to work long shifts with lifting and moving.
Requirements
- Minimum Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience working as a Chef in a busy commercial kitchen.
- Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and time-management skills.
- Passion for creating high-quality food and memorable dining experiences.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Food Safety certification.
- Flexibility to travel for work. Shifts include evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- You will be required to obtain a National Police Check, should you not have one dated within the last 6 months.
Desirable
- Experience with modern Australian cuisine, steaks, burgers, seafood, and grill.
- Understanding of dietary requirements, allergies, and special dietary requests.
- Experience with menu costing and stock management.
- Australian work rights or eligibility to work in Australia.
