Your Impact
As Assistant Day Service Manager, you will play a key role in leading high-quality disability day programs and supporting positive outcomes for participants.
Working as part of the operational leadership team, you will provide leadership across day program operations, supporting Service Coordinators and frontline teams to deliver safe, engaging and person-centred services. You will influence service quality, workforce capability and continuous improvement while contributing to a strong and inclusive workplace culture.
The Role
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Assistant Day Service Manager will provide operational leadership across disability day programs, overseeing service delivery and supporting a team of Service Coordinators, Senior Support Workers and frontline staff.
This role requires an experienced disability leader with demonstrated success managing large teams within a day program environment, with the ability to balance participant outcomes, workforce leadership, operational requirements and quality
standards.
Specifically, you will:
- Lead day-to-day operations across established disability day programs
- Provide leadership oversight to two Service Coordinators and frontline teams
Coach, develop and support teams to deliver high-quality participant outcomes
- Build strong relationships with participants, families and key stakeholders
- Drive quality improvement, compliance and operational effectiveness

What You Bring
You are an experienced disability services leader with a strong background in managing day programs and leading large, multidisciplinary teams.
Key experience and capabilities include:
- Demonstrated experience managing disability day programs in a leadership capacity
- Experience leading large frontline teams and overseeing Service Coordinators
- Solid understanding of NDIS Practice Standards, quality frameworks and safeguarding requirements
- Proven ability to develop teams, improve service delivery and build positive workplace culture
- Strong operational, communication and stakeholder management skills
