The Storeperson is responsible for the efficient receipting, storage, and dispatching of goods within the warehouse. This role ensures inventory accuracy, maintains workplace safety, and contributes to overall warehouse efficiency.
Role accountabilities
- Stock Handling & Inventory Management - Receive, check, and store incoming stock following company procedures.
Accurately pick, pack, and dispatch goods for delivery or collection.
Maintain accurate stock records and assist with regular stocktakes.
Report stock discrepancies, damages, or losses to management.
- Warehouse Operations - Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely.Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.Follow proper procedures for handling and storing hazardous or fragile materials.
- Order Fulfillment & Logistics - Prepare and process orders efficiently to meet customer or business requirements. Assist with loading and unloading deliveries. Liaise with transport providers to ensure timely dispatch of goods.
- Safety & Compliance Adhere to all workplace health and safety (WHS) guidelines.Report any safety hazards or incidents immediately. Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations
- General Duties Assist in cycle counts and stock audits.Work collaboratively with other team members to optimise warehouse performance.Perform other duties as required by management.Delivery of parts
Health & Safety accountabilities
- All Injuries, incidents and near miss incidents are reported to the Workshop Supervisor.
- A hygienic and orderly work environment is maintained.
- Correct personal protective equipment (PPE) is worn.
- Maintain compliance with company and or industry standards within health and safety
- Participate in Health & Safety activities such as Health & Safety observations, hazard identification and risk assessment processes in line with Company procedures and processes.
- Co-operate fully in any injury management process

Qualification and experience
Education
- Successful completion of Year 12.
Experience
- Experience in a warehouse environment
