Our Scientific Licensing and Animal Ethics team is currently seeking to appoint an Assistant Project Officer to undertake diverse project research, analysis, reporting, implementation and related administrative tasks to support the development and delivery of the Biodiversity & Heritage Regulator’s licensing and approvals framework, in line with established project plans and objectives.
The primary focus of the role is the assessment and processing of consultancy and research licenses, renewals, amendments and other applications through the Government Licensing System.
About You
You are a highly organised project support professional with experience coordinating project activities, engaging stakeholders, maintaining documentation, and providing administrative support to ensure successful project delivery.
Key knowledge and experience
- Experience in the provision of administrative and support services, ideally in the area of biodiversity conservation licensing and regulation
- Experience in development and delivery of programs and projects.
- Understanding of contemporary project management principles and practices
