About the role

Shine Hair Salon is seeking an experienced Senior Hairdresser to join our talented team in Rosebery, NSW. This is a part time position that offers flexibility whilst maintaining the high standards our clients expect. As a Senior Hairdresser, you will be at the forefront of our salon, delivering exceptional hair services whilst mentoring junior staff and contributing to our salon's reputation for excellence. This role is pivotal in maintaining client satisfaction, upholding our brand values, and fostering a positive salon environment.

What you'll be doing

- Providing a comprehensive range of professional hairdressing services including cutting, colouring, styling and treatments to a diverse clientele

- Consulting with clients to understand their needs, preferences and hair type, offering professional recommendations and advice

Maintaining the highest standards of hygiene, health and safety in accordance with industry regulations and salon protocols

- Building and maintaining strong client relationships to encourage loyalty and repeat business

- Staying current with the latest hair trends, techniques and products through ongoing career development

- Managing client bookings and ensuring efficient time management throughout your shifts

- Contributing to a welcoming and professional salon atmosphere that reflects our brand values

- Assisting with stock management and maintaining salon cleanliness and organisation

What we're looking for

- A minimum of 5 years' professional hairdressing experience with a proven track record of delivering high-quality services

- A recognised hairdressing qualification or apprenticeship completion from an accredited training provider





- Proficiency in a wide range of hairdressing techniques including cutting, colouring, styling, perming and treatments

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse clients

- A solid understanding of current hair trends and the ability to adapt services to individual client needs

- Flexibility and reliability with a positive attitude towards part-time work arrangements
