MRF Mechanical Tatura is seeking a motivated and skilled qualified motor mechanic to join our small family-owned business looking to expand and continue its high level of service in the area.
This full-time role, the successful applicant will be responsible for servicing and repairing a wide range of vehicles, anything from classic to up-to-date vehicles.
No weekend work and an early Friday for a better work life balance.
What you'll be doing
1. Diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicle issues, including engine, transmission, brakes, suspension, and electrical systems
2. Perform routine maintenance tasks such as services and inspections
3. Use diagnostic equipment and tools to identify and resolve problems
4. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations within the workshop
What we're looking for
1. Formal qualifications in automotive mechanics, such as a Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology
2.
Minimum 2-3 years of experience out of apprenticeship as a qualified Mechanic, preferably in a similar automotive workshop environment
3. Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve complex vehicle issues
4. Ability to work efficiently and accurately unsupervised
5. A commitment to providing high-quality work and exceptional customer service
6. A valid driver's licence and your own tools
