An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced HR Business Partner with strong Employee Relations and Industrial Relations expertise to join a high-performing People & Safety team on a contract basis.

About the Role

As a trusted HR Business Partner, you will provide strategic and operational HR, ER and IR advice across a diverse portfolio. Partnering closely with leaders at all levels, you'll coach managers, manage complex employee matters, support organisational change and contribute to key people initiatives that drive positive organisational outcomes.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing day-to-day advisory responsibilities with project work and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

- Partner with business units to provide expert HR, Employee Relations and Industrial Relations advice.
- Coach and support leaders across the full employee lifecycle.
- Manage complex employee relations matters including grievances, disciplinary matters, investigations and performance management.
- Provide interpretation of Enterprise Agreements, Awards and employment legislation.
- Support organisational restructures and change management initiatives.




- Contribute to Enterprise Agreement matters and represent the organisation where required.
- Develop and review HR policies, procedures and templates.
- Assist with position evaluations, remuneration advice and workforce planning initiatives.
- Support HR projects, continuous improvement initiatives and organisational reporting.
- Work collaboratively across HR, Payroll and Recruitment functions to deliver exceptional service.

About You

To be successful, you will bring:

- Extensive experience in a generalist HR Business Partner or Workplace Relations role within a complex organisation.
- Strong Employee Relations and Industrial Relations knowledge, including experience managing complex casework.
- Demonstrated experience interpreting Enterprise Agreements, Awards and employment legislation.
- Excellent coaching and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence leaders at all levels.
- Experience supporting organisational change and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Outstanding communication, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
- The ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
- Qualifications in Human Resources, Business or a related discipline.
