Job Description
Maintenance Planner (ANZSCO: 312911 – Maintenance Planner) Full time / Permanent $90,000–$100,000 (higher salary will be considered commensurate with qualifications and experience) Duties and Responsibilities:
- Analyse fleet and processing equipment performance to determine servicing requirements.
- Develop preventative maintenance schedules for refrigerated vehicles and plant machinery.
- Prepare detailed maintenance work plans supporting uninterrupted food distribution operations.
- Estimate labour, materials and downtime requirements for scheduled maintenance.
- Coordinate repairs with workshop staff to minimise operational disruption.
- Maintain maintenance records ensuring compliance with transport and safety regulations.
- Monitor statutory inspection schedules for heavy vehicles and refrigeration units.
- Review breakdown reports and implement corrective maintenance strategies.
- Assist management in forecasting maintenance budgets and capital replacement needs.

Qualifications and Experience:
- Relevant Diploma or Associate Degree in Engineering or a mechanical discipline.

Customer Service Manager (ANZSCO: 149212 – Customer Service Manager) Full-time / Permanent $85,000–$100,000 (higher salary will be considered commensurate with qualifications and experience) Duties and Responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate customer service operations supporting wholesale food clients.
- Develop service policies aligned with delivery performance and contract obligations.
- Monitor service standards ensuring timely resolution of client distribution concerns.
- Analyse order accuracy and delivery performance data to improve service efficiency.
- Supervise customer service staff managing wholesale account enquiries and scheduling issues.
- Coordinate closely with transport operations to resolve supply-chain disruptions.
- Establish service benchmarks and monitor performance against key operational metrics.

Accountant (ANZSCO: 221111 – Accountant (General)) Full-time / Permanent $80,000–$85,000 (higher salary will be considered commensurate with qualifications and experience) Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare financial statements supporting wholesale and transport operational divisions.
- Analyse revenue streams and operating costs across distribution activities.
- Develop budgets and cash-flow forecasts aligned with fleet and production planning.
- Prepare BAS, GST and taxation documentation ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Examine financial records to ensure accuracy and statutory reporting compliance.
- Advise directors on cost-control strategies within logistics and processing operations.
- Maintain accounting systems recording inventory, fleet and operational expenditure.
- Conduct financial reconciliations and investigate discrepancies in trading results.
- Assist with external audit processes and regulatory financial reporting.

Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related discipline required.

Retail Buyer (ANZSCO: 639211 – Retail Buyer) Full-time / Permanent $80,000–$85,000 (salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience) Duties and Responsibilities:
- Analyse historical sales data and seasonal buying patterns to forecast demand across fruit, vegetable and meat categories.
- Monitor wholesale market trends, grower supply conditions and competitor pricing to inform procurement strategies.
- Source new suppliers, including growers, produce markets and meat processors, to ensure supply continuity and competitive pricing.
- Liaise with suppliers and negotiate pricing, supply contracts, delivery schedules and trading terms.
- Manage stock levels using inventory systems, establishing reorder points and optimal stock-holding levels.
- Recommend promotional pricing, clearance strategies and adjusted purchasing volumes to control turnover and minimise spoilage.
- Review key performance indicators, including gross margins, stock turnover, wastage and discount performance.

Procurement Manager (ANZSCO: 133612 – Procurement Manager) Full-time / Permanent $100,000–$110,000 per annum (higher salary will be considered commensurate with qualifications and experience) Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement and refine procurement strategies aligned with Pezzano Enterprises’ wholesale food distribution and logistics operations.
- Source, assess and appoint reliable suppliers, including growers, meat processors, FMCG wholesalers and transport providers, to ensure supply continuity.
- Negotiate supply contracts and commercial agreements securing competitive pricing, favourable credit terms, quality standards and delivery schedules.
- Review and manage supplier agreements to ensure commercial viability, food safety compliance and performance standards.
- Establish and maintain long-term relationships with key suppliers and service providers to support stable and scalable operations.
- Approve purchase orders and oversee procurement workflows to ensure timely acquisition and delivery of goods and services.
- Conduct risk assessments on supplier contracts, pricing fluctuations and supply-chain disruptions to minimise operational exposure.
- Monitor procurement budgets, track expenditure and implement cost-control measures to maintain margin targets.
