About the Opportunity

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Advisor / HR Governance & Assurance Partner to join our Adelaide Head Office team.

This newly created role has been established to strengthen our people governance framework, enhance organisational resilience, and support the delivery of critical HR compliance and assurance activities across the business. As our organisation continues to evolve, we are committed to maintaining strong governance practices, managing risk effectively, and ensuring our HR frameworks remain robust, compliant, and fit for purpose.

Reporting to the HR Manager, this position will play a key role in supporting HR governance, compliance, policy implementation, risk management, and audit readiness while reducing dependence on a single point of HR support within the Adelaide office.

This position will be based at our Adelaide CBD head office.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate and support HR governance, compliance, and assurance activities.

- Manage policy implementation programs,



including communication, rollout tracking, and evidence management.

- Support HR-related risk control activities and assist with risk management processes.

- Maintain governance registers, compliance trackers, action logs, and implementation records.

- Assist with internal and external audit preparation, compliance reporting, and assurance reviews.

- Monitor completion of key HR obligations and ensure appropriate documentation is maintained.

- Support the development, review, and continuous improvement of HR policies, procedures, and governance frameworks.

- Provide HR advisory support to leaders and stakeholders on governance and compliance matters.

- Contribute to workforce projects and organisational initiatives requiring governance oversight and implementation monitoring.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

- Experience in an HR Advisor, Governance, Risk, Compliance, or Assurance-focused role.

- Strong understanding of HR legislation, policies, governance frameworks, and compliance obligations.

- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.

- Experience maintaining registers, trackers, audit evidence,



and compliance documentation.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

- Well-developed communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

- Advanced organisational skills with the ability to drive outcomes and meet deadlines.

- Experience within mining, resources, industrial, or highly regulated environments will be highly regarded.
