We are currently seeking applications for a Lead Technical Consultant, to join the Office of the Chief Information Officer at the Department of Treasury and Finance for a period of up to 12 months.

Remuneration: ASO6 – Salary Range ($105,747 - $111,854 p.a.).

About the opportunity:

As a Lead Technical Consultant, you'll play a key role in delivering and enhancing government websites that connects the community to shared digital Government services. Working across the full project lifecycle, you'll contribute to the design, development, implementation and ongoing management of digital solutions. You will lead the technical aspects of website builds, managing risks and resolving complex issues. This is an opportunity to apply your technical expertise in a collaborative setting and help deliver reliable, user-focused digital outcomes that align with government priorities.

About you

To be successful you will:

- Play a key role in the South Australian Government's digital environment by providing expert advice on user experience, accessibility, content, and web best practices to help deliver high-quality digital services for the community.
- Work at the centre of a large-scale government web platform, supporting and enhancing website systems, components,and digital standards that underpin a consistent online experience across government.
- Collaborate with diverse stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams to influence the design and delivery of citizen-focused websites, helping ensure digital services are accessible, user-friendly, and aligned with government standards.
- Lead the development of capability across government, delivering training, guidance, and resources that empower website editors and stakeholders to confidently manage and maintain effective digital content.
- Contribute to the ongoing evolution, security, and reliability of government digital services, supporting platform improvements,



accessibility initiatives, system governance, and the adoption of new technologies and tools.
