Our client is entering a pivotal stage of its evolution and is seeking an exceptional Chief Information Officer to lead a multi-year technology transformation that will redefine how the organisation operates, serves its customers, and scales for the future.
This is far more than an operational IT leadership role.
You'll inherit a technology landscape that includes legacy platforms, ageing infrastructure, fragmented applications, and opportunities to modernise architecture, improve digital capability, strengthen cyber resilience, and unlock data-driven decision making.
As a member of the Executive Leadership Team, you will partner closely with the CEO and executive stakeholders to develop and execute a technology strategy that transforms IT into a true business enabler.
About the Opportunity

You will define the future-state technology roadmap, establish contemporary delivery practices, and lead investment decisions across cloud, enterprise applications, integration, cyber security, data and AI.
You'll create an environment where innovation and operational excellence coexist, ensuring technology delivers measurable business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute an enterprise-wide technology strategy aligned to organisational objectives.
- Lead the transformation from legacy technology platforms to contemporary, scalable cloud-based solutions.
- Establish an enterprise architecture that supports future growth, agility and integration.
- Drive application rationalisation, platform modernisation and technology simplification.
- Champion AI,
automation and emerging technologies to improve customer experience and organisational efficiency.
- Build a data strategy that enables trusted reporting, analytics and intelligent decision making.
- Strengthen cyber security, governance, risk management and regulatory compliance.
- Lead enterprise technology programs from strategy through successful delivery.
- Create high-performing technology teams focused on collaboration, innovation and continuous improvement.
- Manage strategic technology vendors and maximise value from technology investments.
- Foster a product and service mindset across technology functions.
- Develop technology governance frameworks, operating models and delivery standards.
What We're Looking For
You are an influential technology executive with a track record of leading enterprise-wide transformation.
You combine strategic vision with the ability to execute, bringing credibility across executive leadership teams while inspiring technology professionals to deliver exceptional outcomes.
You will ideally bring:
- Proven experience as a CIO, CTO or senior technology executive leading complex organisations.
- Demonstrated success modernising legacy technology environments.
- Experience developing cloud-first strategies across platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise applications, integration, APIs and modern architecture.
- Experience delivering large-scale digital transformation programs.
- Deep understanding of cyber security, governance and technology risk.
- Experience leveraging AI, automation and data platforms to improve organisational performance.
- Strong commercial acumen with responsibility for significant technology budgets.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and executive communication skills.
- A collaborative leadership style with a passion for developing high-performing teams.

- Cloud migration and infrastructure modernisation
- ERP, CRM or enterprise platform transformation
- Data and analytics transformation
