Warehouse Operations Supervisor
Hours of Work:
Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm (hours may vary from time to time to meet the operational needs of the business).

Position Overview
Reporting directly to the Warehouse & Operations Manager, the Warehouse operations supervisor is responsible for leading the day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring customer orders are accurately picked, packed, and dispatched while maintaining a safe, efficient, and well-organised warehouse.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you will work alongside the warehouse team, providing direction, coaching and support while ensuring operational priorities are achieved. You will be responsible for inspiring staff, maintaining productivity, improving warehouse processes, and ensuring outstanding customer service through accurate and timely order fulfilment.
The successful candidate will play a key role in building a positive team culture, developing warehouse staff, driving operational performance and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across all warehouse functions.

• Act as the first point of escalation for operational and staffing matters.
Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Operations
• Oversee the day-to-day Pick and Pack operation of the warehouse.
• Supervise warehouse staff and coordinate daily workflow.
• Allocate daily workloads based on operational priorities.
• Analyse warehouse performance and identify opportunities to improve productivity, quality and efficiency.
• Ensure customer orders are picked, packed and dispatched accurately and on time.
• Maintain a clean, organised and efficient warehouse.
• Ensure warehouse equipment is used safely and maintained appropriately.
• Provide operational updates to the Warehouse & Operations Manager.
Communication & Coordination
• Liaise daily with the Warehouse & Operations Manager.
• Escalate operational risks or customer concerns where appropriate.
Decision Making & Accountability
• Demonstrate initiative and sound judgement when resolving operational issues.
• Take ownership of problems and see them through to completion.
• Escalate significant operational risks or issues to the Warehouse & Operations Manager when appropriate.
• Maintain accountability for warehouse performance throughout the day.
Workplace Health & Safety
• Lead by example in maintaining a safe workplace.
• Ensure compliance with all Workplace Health & Safety policies and procedures.
• Promote safe manual handling and forklift practices.
• Conduct regular warehouse safety inspections.
• Report hazards, incidents and near misses.
• Maintain excellent housekeeping standards.
• Ensure warehouse equipment is operated safely and maintained appropriately.

Skills & Experience
The successful applicant will demonstrate:
• Previous experience in a Warehouse Team Leader, Warehouse Supervisor or similar leadership role.
• Experience leading, coaching and developing warehouse teams.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, logistics and inventory management.
• Experience in customer order fulfilment and dispatch.
• Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to monitor and improve operational KPIs.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Experience using Microsoft Dynamics Business Central or similar.
• Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Current Forklift Licence (preferred).
• Current Australian Driver's Licence.
