We are seeking an ambitious and enthusiastic Credit Assessor to join one of Australia’s leading personal loan providers. Handy Finance is a leading fintech with a mission to Make Money Simple and this his role represents an opportunity to support an incredibly exciting, fast-growing financial technology company (‘FinTech’), that offers substantial personal and professional development opportunities.
What you’ll do
You will be responsible for preparing credit application files for decisioning by a credit manager. As a Credit Assessor, your role will entail:
- Following up customers daily for the information required to complete an assessment
- Assessing credit risk and providing pricing and outcome recommendations for personal loan applications;
- Accurately assessing a customer’s loan application and validating data in line with policy and regulations;
- Being responsible for the quality of files to ensure correct and complete information is available to enable settlement to proceed.
- Developing strong credit assessment and structuring skills by working with a diverse customer set;
- Responding to enquiries and qualifying customers for finance by completing the application process with customers over the phone and via email.
- Providing outstanding customer service to customers and vendor partners. This includes assisting with group inbox management, resolving loan and account enquiries, appeals or complaints in a timely manner.
What you’ll bring:
- Experience in a fast-paced call centre environment
- Good quantitative and analytical skills
- Great interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Preferably available to work from 1pm - 9pm on Weekdays
