ABOUT THE COMPANY

This Sydney head contractor has spent years delivering high end commercial fitout and refurbishment projects from $1M to $30M across commercial, hospitality, retail, government and education sectors. They have a strong client base, a packed pipeline of work and a team that delivers. Business is growing and they need a Senior Project Manager who can walk in, take ownership and get results.

ABOUT THE POSITION

You will report to the Project Director and run multiple commercial fitout and refurbishment projects across Sydney at the same time. You will be across everything from early design through to handover, keeping projects on time, on budget and to a high standard. You will also look after your project team, manage the client relationship and make sure subcontractors are performing.

DUTIES

- End to end project delivery
- Budget management
- Client and stakeholder management
- Programme oversight
- Leading and mentoring the project and site team
- Subcontractor management
- Supporting business development and repeat client relationships

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

MUST HAVE

- Minimum 4 years experience as a Project Manager in commercial construction
- Background in commercial fitout and refurbishment
- Track record delivering projects on time and on budget
- Strong communicator at client, team and subcontractor level




- Tertiary or trade qualification in a building related discipline

PREFFERED

- Proven ability to lead and mentor a project team
- Solid and stable work history with previous employers
- Experience working for a Sydney head contractor
