About the Role
As an Occupational Therapist, you'll empower children and adults to build independence, improve participation, and achieve meaningful goals.
You'll have the opportunity to:
- Conduct Functional Capacity Assessments (FCA) and comprehensive Occupational Therapy assessments.
- Develop evidence-based, person-centred intervention plans.
- Deliver therapy across clinic, home, school,
community and telehealth settings.
- Complete high-quality NDIS reports, including Functional Capacity Assessments, Assistive Technology and Home Modification recommendations.
- Work collaboratively with participants, families, schools, support coordinators and allied health professionals.
- Recommend assistive technology and environmental modifications to maximise independence.
- Support participants to develop daily living, sensory, motor and functional skills.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation while receiving strong administrative support.
About You
We're looking for someone who is passionate about making a genuine difference and enjoys working within a supportive, collaborative team.
- Degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Current AHPRA Registration.
- Current Australian Driver Licence and reliable vehicle.
- Current Working with Children Check.
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain).
- Excellent communication and report writing skills.
- Strong clinical reasoning and time management skills.
Highly Regarded
- Previous experience working within the NDIS.
- Experience completing Functional Capacity Assessments.
- Experience with Assistive Technology and Home Modifications.
- Experience working with children and/or adults living with disability.
