About the role

Our market‑leading Construction practice is seeking a Solicitor (2‑3 PQE) to join our Brisbane team. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your career within a collegiate, high‑performing environment while gaining exposure to some of Australia’s most exciting projects. You will work closely with Partner Shannon Etwell and the broader Construction team, receiving ongoing supervision, and hands‑on experience.

The team provides comprehensive advice on front‑end construction and major project matters, including risk analysis, project structuring, delivery models, and contract drafting and negotiation. You will be supported in building your skills across these areas, while contributing to complex, high‑value transactions. You will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of major matters for leading energy, resources and infrastructure clients, including projects such as the Gabba Arena Project, Brisbane Stadium, Cross River Rail, Gold Coast Athletes Village, the Wave, the Waterfront, and a variety of solar, wind, BESS, transmission and gas power projects.

You will have

- Front‑end construction expertise.




- Experience in drafting complex construction and project documents.
- Strong analytical, communication and research skills, with attention to detail.
- Commercial curiosity – a drive to keep up to date with construction sector issues and developments to enhance personal performance and client delivery.
- A commitment to client service, with the opportunity to begin building relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
- A collaborative and team‑focused approach.
- A willingness to embrace recent technologies, including AI‑enabled legal tools, as part of your ongoing professional development.
