Overview

Brooks is a leading provider of automation solutions with experience in the semiconductor industry, offering precision robotics, integrated automation systems, and contamination control solutions. Brooks LAS (Laboratory Automation Solutions) designs and manufactures automation systems that optimise workflows in laboratory environments, delivering compact, intelligent systems that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability. We are seeking a New Product Development (NPD) Project Manager to guide a multi-disciplinary team to deliver high-quality recent products.

Responsibilities

- Liaise with customers and internal stakeholders to understand needs, facilitate solutions, and guide the creation of requirements.
- Ensure designs, processes, and procedures meet or exceed ISO 13485 quality standards.
- Create project plans and assign tasks to the project team.
- Facilitate collaboration of multidisciplinary teams to deliver project milestones.
- Ensure recent products are fit for purpose and meet cost, quality, compliance, and schedule requirements.
- Implement processes to ensure effective communication among all project team members, both internal and external.
- Report on project progress to Directors and company leadership as required.
- Track and analyse project delivery to manage risks and propose solutions to address challenges.

What you’ll bring

- Relevant tertiary Engineering qualifications in a related discipline.
- More than 10 years of experience managing New Product Introduction project teams.
- Proven ability to meet timeframes and deliver projects successfully.




- Adaptable problem solver with strong communication skills to build relationships across multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to work directly and effectively with external customers.
- Attention to detail with a solutions-oriented mindset.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and deliver results.
- Experience delivering products within an ISO 13485 Quality System is desirable.
- Strong team player, mentor, and coach for junior colleagues.
- Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Agile) desirable; experience in cross-functional or global environments preferred.

- Effectively identifying and resolving project risks and issues.
- Maximising resource utilisation and driving efficiency.

Work Location & Flexibility

In-office and remote work arrangements may be available depending on the role and business needs. Specific expectations will be discussed during the interview process.
