About the Role

Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will take ownership of end‑to‑end weekly payroll processing for a diverse workforce, ensuring accuracy, navigating award complexities, and managing a variety of payroll scenarios.

Key Responsibilities

- End‑to‑end processing of weekly payroll for circa 500 employees
- Interpret and apply multiple awards, EBAs and payroll rules accurately
- Manage overtime calculations, allowances and one‑off adjustments
- Process new starters, terminations and payroll changes
- Resolve payroll queries from employees and stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, awards and company policies
- Maintain accurate payroll records and reporting
- Collaborate closely with payroll and finance stakeholders to support smooth payroll operations

About You





- Minimum 5 years Australian payroll experience
- Strong experience processing weekly payrolls in a high‑volume environment
- Proven experience managing multiple modern awards and enterprise agreements
- Excellent attention to detail and strong problem‑solving skills
- Confident communicator who enjoys working collaboratively within a team
- Ability to manage deadlines and thrive in a fast‑paced payroll environment
- Experience with payroll systems and automated award interpretation tools highly regarded
