About the Role
As a Service Writer, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the Service Department. Working closely with technicians, customers, and the Service Manager, you'll help ensure workshop administration is completed accurately and efficiently while delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Responding to internal and external customer enquiries
- Creating and managing service work orders from commencement through to invoicing
- Maintaining accurate service records and department documentation
- Updating customer and equipment information within company systems
- Assisting with technician efficiency reporting
- Processing warranty and product improvement program claims
- Supporting the Service Department with administrative and operational tasks
- Contributing to a positive customer experience and efficient workshop operations
What You'll Bring
- Previous administration or customer service experience
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Confidence using Microsoft Office and learning new systems
- Ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines in a fast-paced workplace
- A collaborative, team-focused approach
- A general understanding of mechanical or technical terminology is advantageous but not essential
- Year 12 completion or relevant experience is desirable
