Gippsland Primary Health Network (Gippsland PHN) is a not for profit charity that works at a regional level to achieve improved whole of system health care. Our vision is for a Measurably Healthier Gippsland. We work closely with the primary health care system, identifying opportunities to improve health outcomes in Gippsland communities. We do this through health system improvement programs, and by commissioning services to address local health needs via our regional commissioning role.

Gippsland PHN is seeking expressions of interest for three upcoming Board vacancies commencing in November 2026. The vacancies include two elected Director positions and one appointed Director position.
Gippsland PHN is seeking strategic, community-focused and values-driven leaders who can contribute to improving health outcomes across Gippsland and support strong governance in a complex and evolving health system.
The Board Directors play an important role in guiding Gippsland PHN’s strategic direction and supporting robust governance.
Directors are also responsible for ensuring governance and oversight of Gippsland PHN’s legal and financial accountability, statutory obligations and compliance with funding deed requirements.
As part of the skills matrix process, preference will be given to applicants who can demonstrate skills, experience or capability in the following key areas:
- Digital and data governance
- Commissioning and system design
- Commercial and financial acumen
- Primary care clinical expertise and/or health system knowledge
