Senior Ecologist

We are seeking a Senior Ecologist, ideally specialising in botany to join our Ecology team, working out of our thriving Brisbane or Sydney offices.

Responsibilities

- Successfully managing projects that are within budget and delivered on time
- Representing clients and facilitating external meetings
- Identifying when team members needs support and providing them with the tools for success
- Conducting flora and fauna surveys on complex projects
- Delivering well written reports
- Mentoring junior team members

Qualifications

- 5+ years relevant consulting experience in planning and delivering ecological studies for the resources and infrastructure sectors of Queensland and/or New South Wales




- Tertiary qualification from a recognised institute in Ecology/ Environmental Science/ Environmental Management or similar disciplines
- Robust knowledge and experience conducting flora and fauna surveys
- Experience with GIS desktop software such as ESRI, ArcGIS or QGIS and data collection packages ArcGIS Fieldmap and Survey123
