This is an outstanding opportunity for a high‑performing banking professional seeking accelerated career development and meaningful client exposure. You will work directly with senior bankers and business leaders, gain broad exposure across lending, treasury, FX, trade and capital solutions, and develop the skills required for a long‑term career in relationship management and corporate banking.
What You’ll Do
Working closely with senior relationship managers, you will play a key role in managing and growing a portfolio of Australian and international mid‑market clients.
- Support senior bankers in managing and deepening client relationships across a diverse portfolio of growth‑focused companies.
- Participate in client meetings and help identify opportunities to deliver Citi’s full suite of banking solutions.
- Analyse financial performance, credit risk and business strategy to support financing decisions and client growth initiatives.
- Assist with credit structuring, transaction execution and preparation of credit submissions.
- Work on acquisition financing, growth capital and strategic lending opportunities.
- Develop an understanding of Citi’s cash management, FX, trade,
treasury and lending capabilities.
- Coordinate client onboarding, implementation and ongoing relationship management activities.
- Build strong partnerships across Product, Risk, Operations and Coverage teams both locally and globally.
- Leverage Citi’s international network to support clients’ cross‑border banking and expansion needs.
- Contribute to business development initiatives and support new client acquisition efforts.

What We’re Looking For
We are seeking individuals who combine strong analytical capability with genuine commercial curiosity and relationship‑building skills. You will likely have:
- 3‑8 years of experience in commercial banking, corporate banking, credit, finance, consulting or a related field.
- Strong financial analysis and credit skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
- A proactive and solutions‑oriented mindset.
- High levels of personal drive, resilience and accountability.
- The ability to thrive in a fast‑paced and collaborative environment.
- A desire to build a long‑term client‑facing career.
