Overview

Team Global Express is seeking a HR Driver / Forklift Operator to commence immediately in Wilsonton, Toowoomba. This is a full-time permanent role, Monday – Friday.

Responsibilities

- Complete deliveries and pick-ups promptly and according to time frames.
- Conduct multi-drop deliveries and pickups across the Toowoomba and surrounding regions in a protected and professional manner.
- Ensure all freight is loaded, secured and transported in accordance with company procedures and Chain of Responsibility (CoR) requirements.
- Provide a high level of customer service during deliveries and collections while maintaining a professional presentation at all times.
- Complete delivery paperwork, run sheets, electronic manifests and scanning accurately and in a timely manner.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and pre-start checks, reporting any maintenance or safety issues promptly.
- Monitor freight conditions during transit and ensure safe handling of all customer goods.
- Plan and manage delivery runs efficiently to meet operational schedules and customer expectations.
- Involve forklift loading and unloading duties, including the safe movement, handling and staging of freight within the yard and warehouse areas.
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to load and unload trucks, trailers and pallets in accordance with site procedures and load restraint requirements.
- Assist with general yard and warehouse operations, including freight sorting, scanning, palletising and maintaining clean and organised work areas.
- Follow and comply with company procedures, including hazard, near miss and incident reporting processes.




- Restrain loads safely as well as the correct use of straps and chains where required.
- Keep trucks, forklifts and equipment in a clean and maintainable condition, whilst also keeping the yard and your personal work area tidy.

What you’ll bring (Qualifications)

- Current & Valid HR License or higher.
- Current Forklift (LF) Licence.
- Previous experience operating forklifts in a transport, freight or warehouse environment.
- Previous experience in HR truck driving, multi-drop deliveries or general freight transport.
- Ability to follow instructions and work autonomously.
- Excellent punctuality and the ability to complete deliveries in a timely manner.
- Full rights to work in Australia.
- Strong safety focus and the ability to safely load, unload and restrain freight in line with company and WHS requirements.
- Physical fitness to perform manual handling tasks where required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to provide excellent customer service during pickups and deliveries.
