Position Overview
We are seeking a high-performing Coordinator to lead a thriving After-School Care service located on the grounds of Sacred Heart Catholic Primary School – 511 Bunnerong Road, Matraville. This is a parental leave cover contract until the end of 2026, full-time with possible extension and additional internal opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
- Create a safe, inclusive space and champion a culture where every child and staff member feels welcome, supported, and respected.
- Manage accurate attendance records and bookings to ensure consistent supervision and safety.
- Supervise and mentor educators, helping them grow in confidence and capability in their daily practice.
- Design and deliver engaging educational programs, underpinned by thoughtful observations and reflection.
- Support and promote the mission and ethos of the Catholic Church, embedding them in your day-to-day leadership.
- Nurture positive relationships with families, the school, and key community stakeholders.
About You
- A Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care.
- Proven experience in Out of School Hours Care (OSHC).
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Reliable, organised, and enthusiastic.
- Certification in Child Protection Training.
- Current First Aid Certificates, including CPR, anaphylaxis, and asthma management.
- Valid NSW Working With Children Check.
- Completed mandatory national child safety training via GECCKO.
