The North West Regional Hospital are seeking dedicated and suitably experienced Registered Nurses to join their team. ICU is a specialised area that requires skilled staff to care for critically unwell patients requiring organ support via ventilation, continuous renal replacement therapy and haemodynamic support.
The Role
The Registered Nurse strengthens health outcomes through the provision of safe, quality, clinically appropriate nursing care in partnership with patients, their families and other health professionals.
Ideal Candidate
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience working in an ICU setting
- Ventilator (Draeger) and CRRT (Prismaflex) experience
- Paediatric experience and postgraduate certification (highly desirable)
Eligibility
- Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse
- Holds or is working towards relevant postgraduate qualifications (desirable)
Salary & Benefits
Salary: $80,524 to $109,175 per annum (pro rata). An Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount. The salary range is in accordance with the Nurses and Midwives (Tasmania State Service) Agreement 2023.
Additional allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available.
