Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate electrical crews across installation, maintenance, testing and repairs.
- Ensure strict compliance with safety standards and work procedures.
- Support incident investigations and implement corrective actions.
- Drive safety culture, ensuring correct PPE and safe work practices.
- Contribute hands‑on when required—troubleshooting, installing, and repairing equipment.
- Mentor and develop team members through coaching and performance management.
- Plan and allocate resources effectively, including scheduling and forecasting.
- Prepare cost forecasts and align with maintenance plans.
- Build strong relationships with client representatives on site.
Qualifications
- Trade qualification or relevant tertiary qualification (Electrical preferred).
- Proven experience in underground mining.
- Leadership experience managing crews in high-risk environments.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to prioritise and adapt in a dynamic environment.
- Current driver’s licence and ability to obtain National Police Clearance.
- A proactive, can‑do mindset aligned with the motto: "Consider it done — safely."
