The Team

The Pharmaceutical Management team is responsible for the procurement, distribution and governance of medicine supply across Alfred Health. This is managed through a unique, proactive and coordinated approach; utilising close working relationships with external suppliers to deliver medications to both Pharmacy and Pharmacy‑related medication imprest areas across the organisation.

The Role

We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated persons to join our team as an Inventory and Procurement Technician. In this position, you will deliver the daily functions of the pharmacy distributions and stores teams, including facilitating the supply of pharmaceuticals across all campuses of Alfred Health, both wards and dispensaries. Working directly with the Distributions Senior team and closely with the Procurement and broader Pharmaceutical Management team,



you will be responsible for stock management, record keeping and contributing to quality improvement projects in the Pharmacy Store.

- Willingness to take a hands‑on approach to completing required tasks
- Flexibility and ability to adapt to change in a fast‑paced public hospital environment

Qualifications/Experience Required

- Previous store and stock control work desirable
- Hospital experience desirable but not essential
- Pharmacy experience desirable but not essential
- Experience and familiarity with procurement, forecasting, planning and warehouse environments an advantage
