We support the development of innovative medicines in a quality‑controlled environment, conducting pharmacokinetics (PK) and pharmacodynamic (PD) assays across a wide range of therapeutic areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide senior laboratory support and ensure efficient operation of a busy laboratory meeting accreditation standards.
- Maintain the laboratory and associated equipment, including cleaning, calibration and maintenance following SOPs and maintenance schedules.
- Order, receive, and store consumable supplies and reagents, and assist with shipment coordination.
- Respond to temperature monitoring alarms in a timely manner.
- Maintain equipment service and calibration records in the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
- Assist with procurement of laboratory equipment and participate in CAPA processes.
- Support the end‑to‑end process of the in‑house Pipette Verification and Calibration Project, including routine checks, cleaning, maintenance, calibration logging, and reporting.
- Ensure pipette verification activities meet NATA and internal quality management requirements, monitor consumables, and draft or update SOPs.
- Provide regular updates to the Lab Support Manager on risks, delays or resource needs.
- Contribute to risk assessments related to equipment, inventory and processes.
- Prepare, maintain and review policies, SOPs,
systems and procedures to ensure quality and integrity of services.
- Adhere to ISO/IEC 17025, OECD Principles of GLP, GCLP principles, 360biolabs’ Quality Management System and other regulatory guidelines.
- Ensure safe and effective conduct of laboratory activities, and comply with statutory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and provide mentorship to junior lab assistants.
- Participate in internal and external audits, and in meetings/training associated with the role.
Qualifications
- Tertiary education in a scientific discipline or equivalent experience (Essential).
- Experience working in a quality‑controlled environment, preferably an accredited facility following ISO/IEC 17025, GLP, or similar quality systems (Essential).
- Experience with ISO 8655 or similar standards (Essential).
- Excellent organisational and time‑management skills (Essential).
- Ability to work as part of a team (Essential).
- Good communication skills and willingness to learn (Essential).
- Experience handling clinical samples (Essential).
- Experience with a Lab Information Management System (LIMS) (Desirable).
- High motivation and enthusiasm for biomedical research (Desirable).
