Job Title: Senior Analyst – Investment Performance & Attribution (PEARL Ortec)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Analyst – Investment Performance & Attribution to join our growing Investment Operations team. This role is suited to a professional with deep expertise in investment performance measurement, attribution analysis, and performance reporting. Hands-on experience with PEARL by Ortec Finance is mandatory.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering accurate performance calculations, attribution analysis, performance reporting, and supporting internal stakeholders and clients with investment insights across multiple asset classes.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform daily, monthly, and quarterly investment performance calculations and attribution analysis.
- Produce accurate and timely performance reports for institutional and investment management clients.
- Analyse portfolio performance and explain attribution results across various asset classes.
- Ensure data quality, reconciliation, and validation of performance data.
- Investigate and resolve performance calculation discrepancies and data exceptions.
- Work closely with Portfolio Managers, Investment Operations, Technology, and Client Reporting teams.
- Support month-end and quarter-end performance reporting cycles.
- Maintain and enhance performance measurement processes and controls.
- Participate in system upgrades, testing,



and implementation initiatives related to performance measurement.
- Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience

- 5+ years of experience in Investment Performance & Attribution within the asset management, wealth management, or financial services industry.
- Mandatory hands-on experience with PEARL by Ortec Finance.
- Strong understanding of:
- Investment Performance Measurement
- Performance Attribution
- Time-Weighted and Money-Weighted Returns
- Composite Performance (GIPS knowledge is desirable)
- Experience in performance data validation, reconciliation, and exception management.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Robust stakeholder management and communication skills.

Technical Skills

Experience with one or more of the following is desirable:

- Bloomberg
- FactSet
- MSCI Barra
- SimCorp Dimension
- BlackRock Aladdin
- SQL
- Microsoft Excel (Advanced)

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
- CFA, CIPM, or progress towards a professional investment qualification is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Collaborative approach with the ability to engage effectively with business and technology stakeholders.
