About the Role

We have an prospect for a litigation lawyer to join our Dispute Resolution section in Sydney, working with a highly regarded team of leading Partners and lawyers.

The Sydney team is part of our national and well‑established Dispute Resolution Section, with over 115 team members nationally working across all facets of commercial dispute resolution and litigation, including commercial and contractual disputes, banking and financial services litigation, restructuring and insolvency, public sector, property disputes, regulatory investigations and tax disputes.

This is a fantastic hands‑on commercial litigation role, with significant learning, development and progression opportunities, and the opportunity to work with interesting clients and complex matters.

Responsibilities

- Corporate restructuring and insolvency and bankruptcy matters, both contentious and non‑contentious.
- Complex commercial litigation matters.

Qualifications

- Between 3 and 5 years of post‑admission experience in Australia.
- Previous experience in insolvency and restructuring, with some exposure to commercial litigation, ideally from a large or medium‑sized law firm or a specialist litigation practice.




- Strong communication and drafting skills, with outstanding attention to detail.
- The ability to confidently run matters through dispute‑resolution processes.
- The ability to handle a busy workload with competing timelines.
