We're looking for a Clinical Trials Support specialist to be the go-to person for our clinical trials clients and sites — helping set up new studies in our SmartClinical platform, training site teams, solving problems, and making sure every stakeholder has a outstanding experience with Smartways.

What You'll Do

- Partner with client project teams to set up new trials/studies in SmartClinical, promoting self-service while keeping the experience smooth and well-supported
- Onboard and support clinical trial sites — training, troubleshooting, and proactive communication
- Handle enquiries and resolve issues via phone and email
- Deliver training via onsite visits and video calls (some travel required)
- Work closely with Customer Operations and Life Science Operations on new studies, ETAs, and delivery requirements
- Prepare pricing proposals and quotes
- Provide reporting and analytical support to track commercial targets and identify operational needs




- Manage rate uploads and billing accuracy in SmartClinical
- Build deep expertise in the clinical trials sector and our clients' businesses
- Support the ongoing development of our Clinical service offering and the SmartClinical platform
- Represent Smartways at industry conferences and events

What you'll bring

- Solid understanding of clinical trials — stakeholders, phases, and the logistics behind them
- Experience with clinical trials logistics highly regarded (biological samples, investigational product shipments, study setups, lane mapping, temperature/packaging requirements)
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, logistics, or related field
- 3+ years in a customer / operations support / account management role
- Confidence developing and delivering training materials and sessions
- Strong communicator, natural problem-solver, comfortable owning outcomes
- Understanding of rate cards, P&L;, and commercial analytics
- Willingness and ability to travel
