Monadelphous Mining and Minerals North West is seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Supervisor to support our Coastal Operations Core Crew. This is an exciting opportunity to join our Marine Structural Integrity project on Rio Tinto’s CLA Wharf as a crucial member of the team. This project is dedicated to the remediation of corrosion to the wharf through blast & paining and welding disciplines. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising all mechanical and welding activities through supporting the crew, ensuring all mechanical works are completed safely and to the highest standard whilst in alignment with project requirements. This is a casual position on a 2:1 roster, FIFO from Perth to Karratha . We encourage First Nations people and female applicants to apply.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and support mechanical and welding crews working on the wharf
- Ensure welds are compliant with design, safety standards, and site requirements
- Coordinate closely with other disciplines to enable efficient execution of remediation works
- Act as the primary point of contact for our mechanical, providing leadership and direction

What you’ll bring
- 2–5 years’ supervisory experience in mechanical (fitting and boilermaking) within mining or heavy industry
- Strong understanding of all welding methods and inspection requirements
- Experience working on marine or coastal projects (desirable)
- Familiarity with Rio Tinto systems and procedures (desirable)
- Strong commitment to safety, quality, and delivery outcomes
- Valid right to work in Australia
