Business Development Manager – IT Consulting (Enterprise & Government)

About the Opportunity

An established national IT consulting organisation is looking to appoint a high-performing Business Development Manager to drive net-new business growth across Adelaide.

This is a true hunter role , focused on identifying, creating, and converting new opportunities within enterprise and government clients.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Proactively generating new business opportunities across enterprise and government
- Building and executing a targeted outbound sales strategy
- Leveraging your network to open doors and create conversations
- Leading end-to-end sales cycles, including bids and tenders
- Collaborating with technical teams to shape compelling solutions
- Developing long-term, strategic client relationships

What We’re Looking For

- Proven experience in new business development (hunter role)



within IT consulting or professional services
- Strong network across Adelaide enterprise and/or government sectors

Ideally a background in:

- IT consulting / professional services OR
- Technology staff augmentation

Solid understanding of:

- Cloud, Data, Software Development, DevOps, or broader IT ecosystems
- Demonstrated ability to build pipeline from scratch and close deals
- Confident communicator with a consultative, solutions-led approach
